OUR FULL RANGE
OF FINE TEAS
A FASCINATION WITH TEA
Our tea master Lalith Lenadora has worked with tea for over 30 years, having started his career as a tea planter
on one of the finest tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya in his native Sri Lanka. At a young age, he was fortunate in being
given the opportunity to taste many different types of delicate teas and at the height of his career he used to taste over
200 cups a day. His passion for tea is boundless and he is please to be able to share that with all of our customers
by holding tea tasting sessions and developing special tea blends. To quote Lalith...
‘A cup of tea is a vital part of everyday life’
for the majority of people in modern Britain - in fact tea is so integral to our routine, that it is difficult to imagine life without it!
‘A cup of tea allows you to take a break and indulge yourself’
we are all so busy these days, making a cup or pot of tea is about taking some time out to have a proper break.
‘A cup of tea is also a great way of warming yourself up on a cold, rainy day’
the UK is not known for having the best weather in the world either, so we often treat ourselves to a hot drink
‘A cup of tea makes everything better’
As it was back in the 1800s, drinking tea in Britain is often a social occasion and a great chance to catch up with friends, family
and even colleagues, even if it is just for 10 minutes!
‘As a nation we turn to tea’
in times of stress as it is a soothing and calming drink.
