First flush teas are the first young buds to be plucked from tea bushes in a harvest season. Plucked from the very first leaves of spring at the Namring estate of Darjeeling, this earthy and aromatic tea has a flavour unlike any other produced later in the season. Delicately sweet at the tip and pleasantly sharp at the end, the complex flavours of this tea make it a true connoisseur’s cup.

Estate: Namring estate of the Darjeeling region.
Elevation: 4500 - 5000 FT.
Climate: Bright and clear sky, cool breeze.
Flavour: Muscatel flavour. The leaves have a floral scent and a hint of an earthy taste.
Brew: 2g (approx. 1tsp) per 200ml cup – add fresh water at 80°C and brew for 3-4 minutes depending on taste. Enjoyed without milk.
